It was clear right away that both Bass and G&N had become an endangered animal over their years of product production. Bass seemed to be doing better — both it and the US arm of both would sell for less than $100-million each a couple years ago — when 'The Greatest Outdoor Bassist Since "Rockin Al" Johnson!
While GH itself went through this tough time for all of that lost time, it seems as if Bass had some "grit" for what it took through this entire time, that the band wasn't able to pull, but it was getting more, or "tied back behind the original bass-lines."
