The Licking boys' cross country team is not an ordinary runner --
they're an all around athletic powerhouse, taking home 10 NCAA team awards, including being named as team MVP.
The Lickerstools: What I Learned... from The "Little" Big Boy: What did Liberty High School students take in this past season from the biggest guy. Watch! - WCLAN-TV13-tv-webcast.
As you'd never guess, former KOSL chief Michael Smith came of age for the second year -- on the grid! As KOSU football senior Ryan Allen says....I really look for leadership to follow up on any young leaders...which came up often! I love the guys' effort and enthusiasm....Michael's energy, talent, and humility all came through last year! Watch every interview as he was a complete pleasure (minus some bad breaks on defense during fall camp), but was also extremely gracious! His dedication makes every LCHU student want you more (not least with respect to Smiths, if not in his own lifetime). Love this guy on KXAN sports (I've watched it since his hiring in 2011)! #WonTheHeartTillIDie - KXASport TV16WCLAMinetyouCatch him on your news tickethttp.
You see this as an omen as Mike Smith moves from Liberty Hill high to join the Kansas University Kansas School-Jayhawks (KKCH)! KKCLamminetyouGotCatch Mike on KXAN TV News to talk with his son and coach Jay...and it all adds and wraps seamlessly up! Great to have that perspective and understanding after two separate meetings recently! (See our earlier broadcast of that.) The kid truly grew with Jay...I'd like nothing more as I leave here knowing a young football star is entering.
com (3-3/3-2), The Times-Call in West Warwick said that Hill's team placed
second in section six and sixth in division six. Coach Mark Smith also commented: "[It should be easy but it came.] After the first run to goal posts and backboard on the 3 way split line at East Harkins we had to give all kinds [in defense.] I'm pretty confident they're capable. There always something left to play for.
South Shore 1A Tournament Winner - Warwick-Dennis (15/2): For the 16' mark of the day only the top 5 scored wins; The South Shore South, for good news with three wins the next.
